My story
The story on this site is my personal experience. What helped me may not help you, and my timeline isn’t a prediction of yours. It includes detailed descriptions of panic attacks and physical symptoms, so please read at your own pace.
Mostly Me Again
Last updated October 18, 2026
These terms cover your use of mostlymeagain.com and the peer support I offer: the free intro call and the monthly membership. By using the site or joining, you agree to them. If anything here is unclear, write to me before you sign up.
Mostly Me Again is run by me, Jona S., in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada. In these terms, “I”, “me” and “my” mean me, and “you” means you.
I’m not a doctor, therapist or counsellor. Nothing on this site or in our conversations is medical advice, a diagnosis or treatment. Peer support means talking with someone who has lived through something similar. It can sit alongside professional care, but it doesn’t replace it.
Please talk to a healthcare professional about your symptoms, and don’t start, stop or change any treatment because of something I’ve said or written.
This isn’t a crisis service. If you’re in crisis or thinking about suicide, call or text 9-8-8 in Canada or the US, or call your local emergency number. Please don’t rely on messages to me in an emergency.
The story on this site is my personal experience. What helped me may not help you, and my timeline isn’t a prediction of yours. It includes detailed descriptions of panic attacks and physical symptoms, so please read at your own pace.
The intro call is free and comes with no obligation to join. It’s a chance to talk about what’s going on and whether membership is a good fit. If you can’t make it, please cancel or reschedule using the link in your booking email, so the time can go to someone else.
Membership is for adults 18 and over. After an intro call or email, I may decide membership isn’t the right fit, for example if you need more support than peer support can offer. If so, I’ll tell you honestly and, where I can, suggest other places to turn.
Access to a private Slack channel for members, and direct messages with me on WhatsApp or Slack. I reply as soon as I reasonably can, but I’m not available around the clock.
I’ll confirm the price with you before you join. Membership is a subscription that’s billed every month, starting on the day you join, until you cancel. If the price changes, I’ll tell you at least 30 days before it applies to you, and you can cancel before then.
There’s no contract and no minimum term. You can cancel anytime by messaging me. You won’t be charged again, and you’ll keep access until the end of the period you’ve already paid for. Payments for past periods aren’t refunded, except where the law requires it.
I may pause or end a membership if these terms or the community guidelines are broken, especially if someone’s safety or privacy is at risk. If I end a membership for any other reason, I’ll refund the unused part of your current period.
The members’ channel only works if everyone feels safe in it. Please:
You own what you write. By posting in the members’ channel, you let me host it there for other members to read. Please don’t post other people’s private information.
The story, photos, design and other content on this site belong to me. You’re welcome to share links and short quotes with credit. Please don’t copy, republish or sell the story or images without my permission.
Bookings, messages and payments use services run by other companies, like Cal.com, Slack, WhatsApp and my payment processor. Their own terms apply when you use them, and I’m not responsible for how they work.
I share this site and peer support in good faith, but I can’t promise they’ll be error-free, always available or right for you. To the extent the law allows, I’m not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and my total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid me in the three months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer protection law.
I may update these terms from time to time. When I do, I’ll change the date at the top of this page. If a change affects members in a meaningful way, I’ll tell you at least 30 days before it applies to you.
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. This doesn’t take away any protections you have under the laws of the place where you live.
